Java and Web Developer

Programmers for our branch in Romania/Brasov

Petatec Schweiz, a full-service consultancy specializing in IT management and development solutions, is in search of  a young, yet experienced and team oriented Java Developer. Position will include duties in Java and Web development. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining and supporting Websphere/Domino Applications. In addition, working knowledge of Visual Basic is required.

Qualifications

• University-Level Graduate in Computer Science / Software Engineering related University (MSc. oder BSc.)
• Working experience relational databases
• Knowledge of software development life-cycle and release management tools, subversioning
• good knowledge of J2EE, SQL, JDBC, XML, and XSL
• Willingness to travel
• Excellent time & project management skills. Strong customer service commitment.
• Fluent English – written and conversation.
• One or more additional European language capabilities with a high level of conversational fluency and understanding of written documents.

Your Responsibilities

• Work closely with other Senior Developers and developers in order to implement the architecture of the application/modules. understand client issues and work quickly to resolve them by developing patches and new versions of the application
